Criterion for answer Additional criterion for the expected answer. It should not deal with 'what' we want to get to know (this should be expressed via 'is question for' property) but rather 'how' we want. Examples: document signed by three board members, verified report etc. Claiming lack of knowledge to answer a question A situation when a person claims being unable to answer a question because of lacking the neccessry knowledge. It occurs when person being asked replies: 'I don't know'. Determining the fact A situation in which it is determined if some specific fact has (or had) place or not. Example: Checking the weather outside as a result of being asked: 'Is it raining?' Propositional question A question containing a whole proposition, that is an utterance that could be true or false. It is answerd by confirming or denying that proposition ('yes/no question') Examples: Are you a vegetarian? Is Norway a member of UE? Question A situation in which a person (or agent) indicates a will for acquiring knowledge about something. Question for indicating an object A question demanding indication of some concept, thing or its property in order to be anwsered. Examples: What's your date of birth? What is the name of the Director of the W3C? Restraining answer A situation in which someone restrains (refuses, avoids etc.) the answer. Example: refusing an answer because of lack of confidence.
